About ClinicalScales.calc

ClinicalScales.calc builds free, single-purpose digital versions of the standardized clinical assessment scales that nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and care staff already use every day — scales like the Elderly Mobility Scale, normally scored by hand from a printed checklist.

Each calculator scores the scale exactly as published in the original validated instrument, shows your running total as you go, and gives you a clear, printable result with the standard interpretation band — so you spend less time adding up points and more time with the patient.

Nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored anywhere. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser, and the page works the same way on a laptop, a tablet at the nurses' station, or a phone at the bedside.

This is an independent project, not affiliated with the original authors of any scale, any hospital system, or any electronic health record vendor. It is a documentation aid, not a substitute for clinical judgment — always interpret a score in the context of the full patient assessment.

More scales (Braden Scale, Morse Fall Scale, Berg Balance Scale, and others) are planned as this project grows, each one validated and built the same careful way as the Elderly Mobility Scale calculator.
